Jennnifer Foren, PMHNP-BC

Jen Foren is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a wide variety of skills and experiences. Her clinical expertise ranges from the inpatient psychiatric hospital setting to nursing homes, outpatient, and telehealth appointments. In addition to her professional experiences, she has had loved ones affected by mental illness, which originally drew he to the mental health field. She utilizes her knowledge and interpersonal skills to create a compassionate environment for her patients.

Jen originally attended the Ohio State University and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology.  She started her nursing career as an aide, eventually working up to an RN. She started working as a medical/surgical, PACU, and OR nurse before starting graduate school at Kent State University to get her MSN, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health. Her diverse past experiences are ultimately what make Jen a well-rounded provider.
